Material about SEO a lot we find on the internet, either in the form of ebook or in the form of article-website website. Of the many articles that discuss about SEO, I want to summarize what I understand and have done for website optimization.

There are 3 main elements in #SEO website that we should know and do if you want to optimize the website in search engines. The three elements are; Keywords, SEO Friendly Website (On Page Factor), and Baclinks (Off Page Factor) research. By knowing the important elements in SEO, we will more easily do website optimization in search engines for long term.

Let's discuss the three main elements in SEO:

1. Keywords Website

Keywords are phrases or sequences of words someone typed in the search field when they search for information on search engines, such as Google. The keywords (keywords) typed in search engine users can be one syllable, two syllables, three syllables, or even can be in the form of a short sentence, depending on each user. In one niche, there are some keywords that are often used by Google users in search engines. Well website owners need to do keyword research to find the list of keywords.

Research keywords (keywords research) is a step done by website owners in finding and determining keywords (keywords) that most relevant to niche website to be built, whether it keywords for the main page or for the article page. By researching keywords we can find out what keywords are sought by the users of #Google, and how the level of competition on those keywords.

If your website uses the right keywords then the opportunity to get a good ranking in SERP (Search Engine Result Page) will be better, and of course this will provide tremendous potential traffic. Using the right keywords means that keywords are the most relevant keywords for your business website, widely used by Google users, and the level of competition can still be won.

There are many ways you can do in choosing the right keywords for your website. One of the best ways to find these keywords is to use free tools from Google, the Google Keyword Planner. In this article I do not discuss how to choose the right keywords, articles for that topic I post in another article.

In essence, keyword research is a very crucial first step in building SEO friendly website. In my opinion, this element has a share of 40% in a website SEO campaign. Choosing the right keywords will make the process of website optimization and get potential traffic from search engines will be easier.

2. Building a SEO Friendly Web (On Page Factor)

What is SEO friendly? What is meant by SEO friendly website is a website built with certain standards so that the website is easily explored and recognized by search engines. In addition, the web must also provide benefits to the user and easy to use / navigate. There are actually many things on the On Page Factor of a website. But based on my experience, only a few are very influential on the power of On Page SEO, including:

A. Placement of Keywords

If you want to optimize the website page for a particular keyword, then make sure the keywords are listed in your website page so that Google better understand what the focus of your website page. Some parts of your website that you need to add keywords are:

Title Tag / Title of web page
Meta Description
Early paragraphs of articles
Semantic URLs
Navigation System
H1, H2, H3 tags
Internal links
Image file (Alt)
B. Building Quality and Relevant Content

If we consider, most of the websites that have a lot of content and quality must rule Google SERP. Therefore, make sure your content is qualified and relevant to the topics covered. Also, consider also creating detailed content, typically content that is longer and more detailed in the Google homepage and is likely to last longer in the Google SERP. If you want to optimize your content for a particular keyword, make sure it is embedded within 100-150 words of the initial paragraph of the article you created.

C. Improve User Interaction Your Website

User interaction on the website / blog was influential on SEO. This user interaction will make bounce rate (bounce rate) in a website will be smaller. To reduce bounce rate we can add multimedia to the post articles on the blog, such as adding an attractive image, adding a video, or a diagram, so that our content will be more interesting and make the user feel at home for long. In addition, give your audience an opportunity to give an opinion or comment by adding a comment field to the article on your blog.

D. Adding Outbound Links

Providing links to other website pages that are relevant to your blog content can also affect SEO. By adding outbound links, this will signal to Google what the topic focuses on your content. However, you must make sure that the website that is given the link is a website that has Authority on the topic you are discussing.

E. Website Load Speed

Google party has mentioned that the speed of loading a website is one factor that is very important in SEO. Websites that slow loading process is usually closed by users who can not wait, so this then affects the search results on Google. Please check your website loading speed by using GTMetrix.com.

3. Build Backlinks (Off Page Factor)

Simply backlinks are links or links from a website page to another website, in other words a website gives recommendations to its users to visit other websites. The purpose of building backlinks is to increase the popularity of a website page on the internet, so the website is likely to get a better position SERP (Search Engine Result Page) Google.

There are so many websites that we can use to build backlinks. Based on my experience, there are several types of backlinks that are very effective for website SEO campaigns, among them are:

A. Links from social media

The social media I usually use to build backlinks is Google+, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, etc. Links from #media social is usually nofollow, but will still increase the popularity of a website page.

B. Links From Authority Website

This link is somewhat difficult to obtain because usually the owner of the authority website will be very critical in selecting articles created by guest authors and links that come out of the website. To get backlinks from well-known sites, we have to submit articles that are really good and also in accordance with niche website. Your effort will be paid if you get some links from famous websites because the effect for your website will be very good. One authority website that you can use is Kompasiana.com. And my advice, DO NOT ever post spam articles.

C. High Quality Blog Network

Blog network is definitely one of the 'secret' of SEO activists, especially the internet marketers. Usually blog networks are deliberately built to provide links to the main website. This blog network uses an old domain and already has authority so that all content will be posted in the blog network will be easily indexed by search engines, which will ultimately provide a very good impact for the main website. Tips, make sure the content in the blog network you build is relevant to your main website niche.

D. Links from Social Bookmarking

Social bookmarking that I often use is Diigo.com, Stumbleupon.com, Folkd.com, Lintas.me, etc. Links from social bookmarking is nofollow and some dofollow. Optimization using social bookmarking is usually very effective for local websites, but need to be careful because too many links from social bookmarking sites and in a short time, can be bad.

E. Links from Forum Signature

Some of the forums I use to build backlinks are Bersosial.com, Forum.detik.com, Forum.kompas.com, Entrepreneur.co, etc. Most links from this forum site are dofollow. More convenient, in addition to installing links in the signature, we can also put links in articles that we post on the forum, this effect is better for SEO. But make sure you do not do SPAM yes because most of the forum sites are very strict rules.

F. Links from Web 2.0 properties

Some web 2.0 that I often use is Blogger.com, WordPress.com. Tumblr.com, Edublogs.org, Bravenet.com, Blog, com, etc. Links from web 2.0 are mostly dofollow. Especially for Blogger and Tumblr I usually take advantage of long-lived blogs and already have Page Rank (PR) as a source of backlinks. The blog has been abandoned by the owner and can be re-registered by a new user, among bloggers is often called the Blog Zombie.

After reading this article, hopefully you can get the important points that should be done in a website SEO campaign so that your website will be well optimized in search engines. May be useful.
